How to Install Jam on macOS

Jam is a package manager for the web which allows you to easily manage dependencies for your web projects. In this tutorial, we will guide you through the steps to install Jam on your macOS system.

  1. Open Terminal on your macOS system. You can do this by clicking on the magnifying glass icon in the top-right corner of your screen and searching for "Terminal."

  2. Install Homebrew, a package manager for macOS, by entering the following command:

/usr/bin/ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)"
  1. After Homebrew is installed, update your Homebrew environment by running:
brew update
  1. Install Jam by running the following command:
brew install jam
  1. Verify that Jam is installed by running:
jam --version

You should see a message that confirms the version of Jam that was installed.

Congratulations! You have successfully installed Jam on your macOS system. You can now start using Jam to manage the dependencies for your web projects.
