In this tutorial, we will be guiding you through the process of installing SickChill on macOS.
Before getting started, make sure you have the following:
Follow the steps below to install SickChill on your macOS computer:
Open Terminal on your Mac. You can do this by searching for it in Spotlight or navigating to Applications > Utilities > Terminal.
Type the following command to install Homebrew:
/usr/bin/ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)"
brew update
brew install python
brew install git
git clone https://github.com/SickChill/SickChill.git
cd ./SickChill
python SickBeard.py
The first time you launch SickChill, you will be prompted to configure it. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
Once configured, SickChill will be ready to use. You can access it by opening your web browser and navigating to http://localhost:8081.
Congratulations! You have successfully installed SickChill on your macOS computer.
