Tutorial: How to Install Syncloud on macOS

Syncloud is an open-source platform that allows users to run various server applications and services from a single device. This tutorial will guide you on how to install Syncloud on macOS in simple steps.

Prerequisites

Step 1: Download Syncloud

  1. Go to https://syncloud.org/.
  2. Click on the "Download" button on the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Click on the "macOS" button.
  4. Wait for the download to finish.

Step 2: Install Syncloud

  1. Open the downloaded Syncloud file by double-clicking it.
  2. The installation wizard will appear. Click "Continue."
  3. Read and accept the license agreement by clicking "Agree."
  4. Choose the destination where you want to install Syncloud.
  5. Click "Install" and enter your admin password when prompted.
  6. Wait for the installation to complete. It may take several minutes.

Step 3: Run Syncloud

  2. Open the Terminal app from the Applications/Utilities folder.
  3. Type sudo syncloud and press enter.

  2. Type localhost:8080 in the address bar.

  4. Enter the default login credentials (username: admin, password: admin) and click "Sign in."
