The first step is to download Writing from its official website which is https://josephernest.github.io/writing/.
After downloading the application, you need to extract the zip file in your preferred location.
Navigate to the extracted Writing folder and select the Writing.app file. After selecting the app, drag it to the Applications folder present in the sidebar of your Finder.
To launch Writing, open Finder and navigate to the Applications folder. Locate Writing.app and double-click on it to launch the app.
