Teikei is an open-source software application that provides a simplified interface for managing Git repositories. In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process of installing Teikei on macOS.
Before we begin, you will need the following:
If you do not have Homebrew installed, open the Terminal app and type the following command:
/usr/bin/ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)"
Press Enter and follow the instructions to install Homebrew.
Open the Terminal app and type the following command to install Git using Homebrew:
brew install git

Open the Terminal app and navigate to the directory where you want to clone the Teikei repository. For example, to navigate to the home directory, type:
cd ~/
Next, clone the Teikei repository by typing the following command:
git clone https://github.com/teikei/teikei.git
Press Enter and wait for the cloning process to complete.
Navigate to the Teikei directory by typing the following command:
cd teikei
Next, use Homebrew to install the required dependencies by typing the following command:
brew bundle
Press Enter and wait for the installation to complete.
Now that you have installed the Teikei dependencies, you can launch the application by typing the following command:
npm start
Press Enter and wait for the application to launch.
