In this tutorial, we will guide you through the steps to install DailyNotes on the latest version of nixOS.
Before we get started, you need to make sure that your system has the following prerequisites:
The first step is to clone the DailyNotes Git repository. Open a terminal and run the following command:
git clone https://github.com/m0ngr31/DailyNotes.git
This will create a new directory named DailyNotes in your current working directory.
If you don't have Nix installed on your system, you can install it by running the following command:
curl -L https://nixos.org/nix/install | sh
This will install Nix on your system.
To install DailyNotes, navigate to the DailyNotes directory and run the following command:
nix-env -if .
This will install DailyNotes and all of its dependencies. Once the installation process is complete, you can launch DailyNotes by running the following command:
dailynotes
To verify that DailyNotes has been installed correctly, you can run the following command:
dailynotes --version
This should display the version number of DailyNotes.
